I drew this book for my daughter when she was a little kid. She LOVED dinosaurs; she had a collection of glow-in-the-dark favorites that went everywhere with her! Children’s fascination with these (safely) extinct monsters has lasted for generations. It’s a fad that seems to have no end. We used to spend hours making up adventures for the dinosaurs and her other friends. I wondered what it would be like if there were still dinosaurs around, and if they were somehow amenable to being tamed. Thus this story. Madeleine Claire is now in her 30’s, but she still has her dinosaurs!
